It is alleged that the Fire Service have issued an internal memo advising that in their opinion they are expecting to receive a major increase in call outs to chimney fires and house fires this winter caused by the incorrect installation of woodburning and multifuel stoves. Everyone is talking about the fuel price hikes that we have been experiencing this year and it look likely that we will be hit by more increases later this year and next January.
